How data is handled
First Payslip is a small private project for one job seeker and one parent. Here is exactly what happens to the information in it.
Where it lives
The site runs on a home computer in the UK. There are no adverts, trackers or analytics, and nothing is sold or shared.
Who can see it
Only two people have accounts: the job seeker and a parent, who signs in with a password and an authenticator code. The parent can see the profile, CVs and applications, and the job seeker is told this.
How AI is used
AI scores how well a job fits and drafts CVs. It is only ever sent the experience and skills in the profile, never the name, email, phone number or date of birth. Contact details are added to the CV afterwards, on the server. Job scoring runs on the same computer; CV writing and checking use Anthropic's Claude API, whose commercial terms say API inputs aren't used to train its models by default.
Where the jobs come from
Job adverts come from Reed's official API. Sites that don't allow automated access are linked to, never copied.
